Who we are
Get Fit App provides meal ideas and nutrition info. The admin backend is used by maintainers to manage restaurant items, images, and tips.
What we collect
- Admin authentication data. If you sign in to the backend, we receive your Google account email and basic profile (via Firebase Authentication) to verify you as an admin.
- Content you add. Restaurant names/ids, meal titles, instructions, nutrition values, and images you upload (stored in Firebase Storage).
- Support messages. If you contact us, we receive the info you include in your message.
- Service logs. Our hosting and Firebase services may log IP address, device/browser metadata, and error details for security and debugging.
How we use information
- To provide and improve the app and backend.
- To authenticate admins and prevent abuse.
- To store and serve meal images and menu data to users.
- To respond to support requests.
Legal bases (EEA/UK)
- Legitimate Interests — operating and securing our services.
- Contract — providing requested features to you.
- Consent — where required (e.g., optional analytics, if enabled).
Service providers
We use Google Firebase to host and operate core features:
- Firebase Authentication (Google sign-in for admins)
- Cloud Firestore (menu data)
- Firebase Storage (meal images)
- Firebase Hosting (web delivery)
Providers process data on our behalf according to their terms and applicable law.
Data retention
- Admin auth records are kept while the account remains authorized.
- Menu data and images persist until deleted by an admin.
- Support emails are retained for up to 24 months unless removal is requested sooner.
Data location & transfers
Data may be stored in Firebase regions selected by our project and may be processed in other locations where Google operates. Appropriate safeguards are applied where required.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, and to object or restrict certain processing.

Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security
We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk (e.g., authenticated writes for admin data, rules for image uploads). No method is 100% secure.

We do not sell personal information. If local law requires additional disclosures or opt-outs, contact us.
